From May 30 to June 1, 2025, the czech town of Hluboká nad Vltavou hosted the SuperCup, the most prestigious U10 baseball tournament in Europe.

And this year, for the very first time, Slovakia was represented also by a team made up entirely of girls! The players came from three different clubs: Panthers Trnava, Bratislava Panthers, and one brave girl from Apollo Bratislava.

Even being a part of this tournament was a huge success. We owe this incredible opportunity to organizers and our amazing supporters: Donio, the Slovak Baseball Federation, the ŽOS Foundation, and the civic association Baseball for Future. Without them, this dream would not have come true.

A total of 18 girls made the trip, accompanied by their parents – and even some grandparents came along to cheer! The atmosphere was absolutely electric – full of joy, determination, and team spirit. During the tournament, our perspective on baseball changed. We saw just how much we still have to learn, but that only motivated us even more.

The girls gave their all until the very last second. The parents cheered tirelessly, even though by the final day, they could barely speak – but that didn’t stop them from encouraging every play. We all left our hearts on the field – as players, coaches, fans, and supporters.

We didn’t just turn heads of people with our enthusiasm – our team uniforms and gear design also caught everyone’s eye. While we didn’t show much on the scoreboard, we showed heart, unity, and spirit – and that’s what really counts.

We returned home exhausted but filled with unforgettable memories from SuperCup 2025. Most importantly, we came back with a clear goal: we’re coming back stronger next year! Our girls know it will take a year of hard work to get there, but we believe in them – and we know they can do it!
